Skin cancer is the most commonly diagnosed type of cancer with 5 million new cases identified annually. On-site screenings make it convenient for employees to do this simple and effective test and to receive tips on how to protect themselves from future skin damage. Erin Shipton, Director of Worksite Wellness, noted, “Feedback from employees who participate in skin cancer screenings at the worksite is consistently the highest rating of any screenings that we do. Many people say that they would not have taken the time to do a skin cancer check if their employer and not made it so convenient.”
