Torrey, as the owner and Chief Executive Officer of LifeHealth, leverages his expertise to expand the organization’s offerings and drive revenue. He leads the leadership team in showcasing LifeHealth’s capabilities to potential government and commercial clients and identifies large businesses seeking a reliable small business partner.

Torrey began his military career in 1987 as an Infantryman at Fort Benning, Georgia. After leaving active duty, he joined the Florida Army National Guard and entered the Active Guard/Reserve program in 1991 as a Personnel Administrative Sergeant. In 1993, he transferred to the California Army National Guard. In 2000, he received a direct commission as an Adjutant General Corps Officer and took command of the 40th Personnel Services Detachment at the onset of the Iraq War. As the war progressed, Torrey transferred to the Transportation Corps and became the Commander of the 2668th Transportation Company at Tallil Air Force Base, Iraq, during Operation Iraqi Freedom from 2004-2005. From 2006 until his retirement in 2009, he served as the Executive Officer and Program Manager for Post Deployment Health Reassessment (PDHRA) at the National Guard Bureau in Arlington, Virginia. Under his leadership, the Army National Guard achieved a 95% PDHRA completion rate, the highest among all reserve components in the Department of Defense.

After retiring in 2009, Torrey transitioned into his post-military career as the Director of Client Relations at Onsite Health. His ability to connect business development and event operations led the company to increase revenue from both the Army National Guard and the United States Army Reserve. In 2010, he was promoted to Vice President of Reserve Component Services and then to President in 2015. After Onsite Health’s acquisition in 2016, Torrey continued his work in the military medical readiness field until 2020.
