Cheryl Alongi, M.B.A., M.A.
Cheryl Alongi is LifeHealth’s Program Director. Cheryl is responsible for the management of LifeHealth’s clinical programs, including our Global Nurse Advisory Line as well as government and military program operations. Her responsibilities include clinical staffing, contracting, program design and development, and operations management.
Cheryl brings over 20 years of experience working in Population Health and clinical contact center operations for healthcare leaders such as McKesson, Anthem, PPD Development and DaVita. Her expertise is in the design, implementation and delivery of care management programs. As a Black Belt, Cheryl was responsible for leading corporate quality and process improvement programs and positioned those companies for superior service, exceptional performance and significant return on investment. She helped start up contact centers, nationally and internationally and worked in diverse roles such as Manager of Research and Analytics, Director of Corporate Quality and Director of Implementation and Operations, Puerto Rico – Nurse Triage, Disease Management and Utilization Management. Cheryl also directed large Care Management Operations teams for Anthem, Inc. where she implemented a national work at home program for clinical and non-clinical contact center staff. At McKesson Care Management, Cheryl developed new Care Management products and directed the Operations Support team overseeing the virtual Nurse Triage Line, Disease and Complex Case Management Operations teams.
Cheryl has MBA/MS Health Administration from the University of Colorado Denver, MA Biological Anthropology from Arizona State University and a BA Anthropology from State University of New York, Buffalo. She is also Six Sigma Black Belt Trained.Back to List
