Margot LangstaffMargot Langstaff, R.N., B.S.N., M.B.A.

Co-Owner

Harvard educated, a successful entrepreneur, and an Army veteran, Margot is a clinician, a builder and a leader.  Her career has been spent designing and starting successful companies that help people meet tough challenges. Margot serves on the Commission for Certification of Case Managers, the largest and only accredited organization in the country. Her passion the delivery of high quality clinical care in the work setting.

 

Background

Margot is a graduate of University of Connecticut School of Nursing and she received her MBA at Harvard Business School. To help businesses succeed, Margot wrote a book on small business financing.  To help women with incontinence issues, she founded Women’s Health Corporation.
Her career also includes positions in sales and marketing in pharma and medical devices and she has designed medically based fitness programs

Defining Experience 
After serving in the Army, Margot then worked in Haiti where she supervised the launch of Haiti’s first modern operating room and outpatient clinic.  She lived in a school for handicapped children across the street from the presidential palace.  “During the day we treated the people of Port-au-Prince and at night we patched up machete wounds for the palace guard.”

What she learned from this experience
“You have to adapt to what’s there and take advantage of it.  We learned to provide up-to-date healthcare in the most challenging conditions.”

Elisa HamillElisa Hamill, R.N., B.S., M.S., M.S.N.  

Co-Owner

The architect of LifeHealth procedures and standards, Elisa is a problem-solver and a superb operations person.  She has the unique ability to synthesize a complex issue and scale it down to smaller, manageable parts.  Her systems have led to LifeHealth being the most professional wellness company today – and are a key reason why LifeHealth, a small company, has the capability to work effectively with much larger organizations.

Background
Elisa is graduate of the University of New Hampshire and has a MS from New York University and a MSN from Pace University. In her insurance work, Elisa was instrumental in getting and – what’s harder – keeping major government contracts for Medicare, Medicaid and the Indian Health Service for Blue Cross.  She was also a technical adviser for the military providing healthcare coverage for the military and their families in the US. LifeHealth is an excellent way to combine her business and nursing skills and it has also allowed her to purse her passion for medical missions in Cambodia.

Mary BrookMary Brook

Controller

Ms. Brook is the controller for BridgeHealth International, Inc. where she manages the accounting, reporting, human resources and financial controls for the organization.

Ms. Brook has experience in a wide variety of industries. Prior to joining BridgeHealth, she worked as a financial accounting consultant to businesses in the healthcare, financial services and sports and entertainment industries. From 1989 to 1997 she was the controller and director of Investor Relations for the Hallwood Companies, a group of 30 publicly traded oil and gas companies located in Denver and Dallas. From 1981 to 1989 she worked as an auditor for Deloitte & Touche, LLP, most recently as senior manager; there, she served clients in the healthcare, financial services, oil and gas, retail, government, not-for-profit, manufacturing, automotive and construction industries including General Motors, Janus Funds, Oppenheimer Funds, Catholic Charities, the Colorado Department of Education and the American Lung Association.

Ms. Brook is a Certified Public Accountant and obtained her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting from the University of Notre Dame in Indiana.

LifeHealth Medical Director

A graduate of the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, Dr. Paley has been in private practice in internal medicine for over 20 years and is Board Certified in Internal Medicine.  

Dr. Paley also conducts LifeHealth’s extraordinarily popular and very lively Lunch and Learn presentations.  She is also a highly regarded health writer and columnist.   Her website and weekly email health newsletter, femailhealthnews.com, currently have 5,100 current subscribers worldwide and 3000 website visitors per month.  She also writes minniepauz.com – an advice column for menopausal women, and is a former guest columnist for the Rocky Mountain News.

Ashley Stafford, B.A.

Event Manager

Ashley Stafford, Event Manager for LifeHealth, joined the company in 2009. A graduate of Colorado State University, Ashley holds a Bachelor of Arts in Speech Communications and a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. She comes to LifeHealth with a more than three-year career in event management, including an intensive stint as Events Coordinator for the Valero Alamo Bowl in San Antonio, Texas. Internships with both Altitude Sports and Kroenke Sports Enterprises in Denver, Colorado, confirmed for Ashley that her expertise was founded in planning and executing.

Ashley is responsible for coordinating all aspects of LifeHealth’s events, including wellness screenings and immunization clinics. Ashley also organizes all staffing efforts in Colorado and around the nation.

Judy Bederman, B.B.A.

Office Manager

After a lengthy career in technology, Judy joined LifeHealth in 2009. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting from the University of Texas in Austin and continues class work towards a Masters in political science. She spent the last eight years of her career as Information Technology Director for O’Meara Ford Center and many years with ADP as Account Executive Supervisor, Showcase Accounts Manager, and Internal Technical Support Manager.

Judy works with four non-profit boards and is a community activist working to advance the status of women both locally and worldwide.
